On Sunday 13th May 2018, Yeotown Kitchen, Marylebone, will be hosting the third event in their series of inspiring brunches and supper clubs, featuring specially selected guests from within the wellness industry. As London’s first mindfulness café, each event guarantees an entertaining yet insightful experience with delicious food and great company.
Driven by the mantra strong in body, clear in mind, the brunch will be themed around 'the mind-gut connection', and held in collaboration with Nutritional Therapist, Eve Kalinik.
A self-confessed “gut enthusiast” Eve believes that maintaining good gut health is at the core of our health and wellbeing and published her first book BE GOOD TO YOUR GUT. Her philosophy is working towards an authentic life-long positive attitude of eating well. No quick fixes, fads, rules, detoxes or diets but rather a balanced and functional approach that supports the gut and the body on a deeper level to increase vitality and a consistent feeling of well being. Most importantly not forgetting to wholeheartedly enjoy the process of eating.
For £44 attendees of the event will receive a signed copy of her book and also be treated to a specially curated three-course brunch inspired by recipes from the 'Mind over matter' chapter, prepared by the Yeotown Kitchen team.
In addition, the event will give attendees the opportunity to experience the Meditation Station found on the lower level of Yeotown Kitchen. The comfortable egg-shaped, cushion lined pods offer guided meditation with a selection of programs to choose from including 'The Brain Break' to help soothe anxiety and build clarity and perspective.
The clean-lined and bright space that makes up Yeotown Kitchen has been designed by the award-winning Dubai based Brand Creative, featuring oak wood panels, cork leather banquettes, window-side bench seating and bright yellow alfresco tables. Elements of positive psychology are infused throughout every aspect of the ambience and décor of the space making it the perfect environment for their 'Set Yourself Up Sunday' series.
